“THE FUTURE IS IN THE HANDS OF THE YOUTH”

A few months ago, we accepted another batch of young trainees from Don Bosco, TESDA, and The University of Makati.

They are currently undergoing hands-on conditioning  under the close supervision of our service personnel. In our experience, exposing them to units actually being used in the field has proven to be a good training ground for youngsters like these.

We believe that in this “Partnership”, both trainees and our service maintenance group will benefit from this experience. To all our trainees, keep up the good work! You are the FUTURE!

RED CROSS TRAINING PROGRAM

In line with the company’s goal for “Safety awareness”, we sent Edvenzer “Ed” M. Reyes and Meriame “Ann” G. Hofileña to attend the “Basic Life Support and First-Aid” seminar from November 11 to 16, 2013 at the Philippine Red Cross Makati City Branch of the Rizal Chapter.

Basic life support (BLS) is the level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. It can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and by laypersons who have received BLS training. BLS is generally used in the pre-hospital setting, and can be provided without medical equipment. Ed and Ann also helped in preparing relief goods for our “Kababayans” affected by the Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).
